FREE Project celebrated a Dissemination Session Organized by OFFER Office- University of Petra Pharmaceutical Centre Theatre, at Petra University in Jordania, on January 15th 2020.

This act was opened by Dr. Tala S. Abuhussein, followed by the Welcoming Speech entitled “UOP’s role in Female Empowerment” on the charge of Prof. Marwan El-Muwalla.

After this, several academics, including Dr. Ali Maqousi talked about the International Cooperation established through joint projects as FREE. Dr. Mohammad Al-Shunnag was in charge of briefing on the core activities of FREE Project.

An interesting discussion panel took place after with other national stakeholders such as the Association of Jordanian Women Academics, from the hand of Prof. Abeer Al Bawab and Dr. Sahar Idwan representing the Arab Women in Computing, who also had an open discussion with the audience and other decision makers from UOP such as Dr Saheer Al Jaghoub, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative & Financial Sciences, as well as Her Excellency Dr. Lana Mamkegh, as part of  UOP Academic Staff Member.
