FREE Project celebrated their second face to face meeting in the American University of Beirut.

The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business was the venue for the second meeting between the project’s partners.
One of FREE project’s Lebanese partners, the American University of Beirut, received the project’s partners within its campus in Beirut.
Steve Harvey, Dean of the OSB, offered his opening remarks and welcome to the assistants to this event. Dr Yusuf Sidani and Dr Rida Elias also were part of this reception committee.
Dr. Fida Afiouni, Associate Professor at OSB, presented with a framing on the project’s topic, before the expert conversations on regional impact, institutional change from within, and student-focused initiatives, were conducted by the following experts:
Dr. Lama Moussawi, Associate Professor at OSB
Dr. Charlotte Karam, Associate Professor at OSB
Dr. Kathryn Rebecca Maude, Assistant Professor at FAS
Mr. Hani Hassan, Director of MEPI- Tomorrow’s Leaders Program

Further, two days of fruitful meetings between partners set the basis for the implementation of the second year of FREE project.
