Syrian Universities  Participation at Knowledge Transfer Workshop 

Arab International University and Damascus University have participated in the workshop held at Prince Sumaya University for Technology in Amman between 16 and 17 November 2021, under the title “Sharing Experiences and Knowledge on Strategic Plans for E&S Centers at SMR universities” and that is within the activities of FREE Project, funded by the Erasmus + Program.

Dr. Serene Dalati of Arab International University (https://www.aiu.edu.sy/) has made a presentation on knowledge sharing and transfer on the Equality and Sustainability centers Syrian universities with a focus on  AIU E&S center.   Furthermore, a presentation by Prof. Walid Al Salameh of Princess Sumaya university for Technology (https://psut.edu.jo/ )   was made to illustrate the progress of E&S centers at PSUT. Academics and specialists attended the workshop from the two partner universities in the Syrian Arab Republic and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Bilateral memorandum of Understanding and Partnership were signed between the Syrian universities and Princess Sumaya University for Technology. The memorandums of understanding were signed with the presence of  Dr. Tamer Al Haja, President of AIU, Dr. Firas Al Hinawi, Vice President of DU, Dr. Mayssa Sioufi, Vice president of DU,   and Dr. Mashhour Al Refai, President of PSUT. The memorandum aims at exchanging knowledge, academics, and students between the two universities, in addition to conducting joint research in the field of scientific research.
